The Bighorn Desert View Water Agency meets in regular session tonight. A full agenda sees changes to agency law, bad debt write-offs and repairs. Reporter Mike Lipsitz checks the agenda…
The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors will hold the regular monthly meeting at 6:00 tonight at Agency offices under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers. Tonight, the board is expected to approve amendments to agency law that State Senator Jean Fuller has drafted at the request of the Agency. Also tonight, the board will consider writing off two year’s worth of bad debt to the tune of $4,500. And tonight, the General Manager will likely get a green light to enter into a contract with Fatty’s Fencing for repairs and enlargements to perimeter fences at various Agency sites for approximately $14,000. And finally, directors will take up an item from last month that was not put to vote pending some clarifications; that being a Memorandum of Understanding between Bighorn-Desert View and Mojave Water Agency.
