The Combat Center will hold a workshop on “How to Do Business with the Base” May 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Copper Mountain College’s Bell Center. The workshop is a partnership between the Combat Center and the Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley Chambers of Commerce and will help answered frequently asked questions. Representatives from Marine Corps Community Services, the Department of Defense Human Resources Office and Lincoln Military Housing will be available. The two-hour event covers topics such as how to contract with the base, how to get a civil service position, how to work for Marine Corps Community Service and advertise community events on base.
