Burrtec offers free bulky item pick-up, with some conditions. Bulky items are picked up curbside one time a month on Fridays. Residents can use this service up to four times per year with a four-item limit. Burrtec asks that you call 48 business hours prior to your collection day schedule. For those needing to dispose of electronics, you can drop of the electronic waste for free at Burrtec’s Yucca Valley office located at 4847 Newton Road. Burrtec’s office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact customer service at (760) 365-2015.
Also, since New Year’s Day falls on a Saturday this year, there will be no delay in trash pick-up services.
