BURIAL FUND SET UP FOR MAN KILLED IN SCHOOL BUS CRASH

The family of the man killed in a crash with a school bus last month has set up a site to raise funds for his burial expenses. Larry Parker, 57, of Joshua Tree, was driving his Toyota Tacoma pick up truck westbound on Alta Loma about 7 a.m. September 25 when he was struck and killed by an eastbound school bus that turned north onto La Contenta in front of him. Larry Parker will be laid to rest at the Riverside National Cemetery, but his veterans’ benefits do not cover all the costs of his expenses.
