Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a burglary at a home in Landers. Deputies were called to the 2400 block of Westwing Drive about noon Wednesday. The owner had not been to the home in about a year, and sometime during that period, thieves broke the locked gate and then entered the home. The owner said the thieves stole everything, from home appliances, a Range Rover, a VW bus, two shipping containers, and more. The loss was estimated to be about $100,000.
