A Joshua Tree man was arrested Sunday after he was spotted stealing property from a Twentynine Palms garage. About 3 p.m. Sunday, the owner of a property in the 4200 block of Lear Avenue spotted a man in one of his buildings who he thought had come on to his property through a hole in the fence. The owner went and got a shotgun and confronted the suspect, later identified as Brendon Rudolph, 25, and yelled at him to lie on the ground, which is how the deputy found them. Brendon Rudolph was arrested for investigation of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000. The stolen property was returned to the owner.
