BROWN BAG LECTURE AT HI-DESERT NATURE MUSEUM TOMORROW

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum continues its Brown Bag Lunch lecture series on Thursday, September 11, with a lecture on gold, presented by Dee Trent. Trent will talk about the deepest and oldest gold mines in California, as well as well as what types of rocks contain gold and silver, and how much gold was mined in our local area, and much more. The presentation starts at noon; admission is $5 but free for museum members, and iced tea will be served. The Hi-Desert Nature Museum is in the Yucca Valley Community Center complex on Dumosa Avenue.
