The St. Joseph’s Players in Yucca Valley will present “Broadway Bound,” the third story in the Eugene trilogy, following “Brighton Beach Memoirs” and “Biloxi Blues.” The play follows Eugene and his brother Stanley as they write comedy for the radio while waiting for their big break and while trying to deal with their parents’ disintegrating relationship. Directed by Rebecca Havely, who also plays the boys’ mother Kate, the play stars Vincent Thomas as Eugene, Cyrus Short as Stanley, and Howie Cohen as their father Jack. Bob Noble as Kate’s father and Shelly Sheckler as Kate’s sister round out the cast. “Broadway Bound” runs Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. through June 5 at St. Joseph of Arimathea Church, 56312 Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley.
