In a late-breaking incident in Twentynine Palms, a call came in at 9:21 this morning of a shooting at the corner of Hillside and Sunnyvale. Two men were injured. A 26-year old male was shot three times. An older man, in his 50’s, sustained a gunshot wound on the top of his head; he was awake and conscious when medical help arrived. The shooter fled. The 26-year old was flown to Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs, and the older man was taken to another area hospital.
