BREAKING NEWS: DETECTIVES NOW LOOKING FOR EVIDENCE OF FOUL PLAY

New information has been released in the case of missing 29 Palms woman Erin Corwin.

Information regarding locations that may have potential evidence of foul play has reached detectives. In order to assist investigators in determining whether or not foul play was involved, several search warrants have been issued. Specific information regarding these search warrants has not been released to protect the integrity of the case.

“We are looking for a crime scene,” said Leland Boldt, the captain of the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigation Division.

The San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department is doing its best to find answers for the family of Erin Corwin without releasing information that may affect the outcome of the case. As stated in our story today, Christopher Lee was arrested as a result of a search warrant, however, this arrest is not related to the case of the missing pregnant woman thought to be his lover. Investigators located a destructive device and arrested Lee for its possession, per PC18710(a). That case was completed and has been filed with the District Attorneys office.

Although the circumstances regarding the disapearance of Erin Corwin are suspicious, no evidence has ruled out she may have left the area voluntarily. Anyone with any information that might help solve the mystery surrounding Erin Corwin’s disappearance is asked to please contact the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigation Division at (909) 387-3589.
