Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Desert CEO Maxine Cuadro expressed her excitement over the club’s recent selection as the 2020 nonprofit organization of the year, stating the “club’s mission, food distribution…during the Pandemic, and opening of the club for essential workers during the summer and school year have all made us qualified for a recognition such as this one.”
A virtual conference is being planned where over 100 nonprofits, including the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert, will be honored by their state senators and assembly members for their community contributions.
