The Boys’ and Girls’ Club of the Hi-Desert will hold a summer program for kids aged 5 to 18 years old. The program will run Monday through Friday, from June 17 to August 16, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will include breakfast and lunch. Children will be grouped by age and will participate in activities, events, and studies throughout the day. In addition, there will be a “summer brain drain” reading program, arts and crafts, STEM activities, water day, baking and cooking classes, field trips, and more. Sponsors are needed to help support the summer programs. Sponsorships range from $30, which will buy art supplies, to $180, which sponsors a child in the club for a year; to $1000, which would sponsor a field trip to the San Diego Zoo.
