BOY STRUCK BY VEHICLE ON YUCCA VALLEY DIRT ROAD

A boy was taken to the hospital Sunday morning after he was hit by a Jeep in Yucca Valley. According to a Sheriff’s report, the boy was walking on a road near Cobalt and Rowell Roads just before 8 a.m. The report says as the Jeep crested a steep hill it hit the boy, who was just below the top of the hill. The boy complained of pain to his left hip and abrasions and was taken to a local hospital by paramedics.
