BoxoHouse will host a series of movie screenings of old Westerns in conjunction with an artist’s residency program. During her residency, Olivia Parkes will create a body of work related to the myths of the Old West as portrayed by the entertainment industry. On Monday, February 23, the 1943 movie “The Ox-Bow Incident,” starring Henry Fonda and Henry Morgan will be screened. The 1952 classic “High Noon” will be featured Sunday, March 1, and on March 8, the movie is “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” from 1962. All movies start at 7:30 p.m. BoxoHouse is located at 62732 Sullivan Road in Joshua Tree.
