Well-known local botanist Robin Kobaly will be the guest speaker Wednesday for Lunch in the Park in Morongo Valley. Kobaly will be speaking on “magical mesquite” starting at noon. Every Wednesday, Morongo Basin residents are invited to bring a lunch to Morongo Valley’s Covington park for an hour of conversation and relaxation. In addition, the Morongo Valley Art Colony gift shop is open for visitors to check out the featured artist or pick up a treasure.
