A Yucca Valley boy who called 911 because he was bored was cited by law enforcement yesterday. According to a Sheriff’s report, emergency operators have received multiple 911 calls over the last week from a home in the 7500 block of Acoma Trail. On September 2, the boy told dispatchers that deputies could make Yucca Valley safer when he walks with his grandmother. September 8, the boy told the deputy he feels safer when deputies go to his home, at which time the deputy advised the boy on proper 911 usage and told him not to call again unless he needed help. On Wednesday, September 9, the boy called 911 again because he was bored. The boy was cited for making harassing calls to 911, and released to his father.
