A book release party for local authors will be held Saturday, August 25, at Space Cowboy Books in Joshua Tree. Jean-Paul L. Garnier will celebrate the release of his book “Echo of Creation.” Other local writers at the event include Jon Christopher, Susan Rukeyser, R. Soos, and Gabriel Hart. The book release party starts at 6 p.m. Space Cowboy Books is located at 61871 29 Palms Highway, next to Art Queen, in Joshua Tree.
