Kathleen Lowndes’ new book “Facing the Ultimate Fear: A New Future” chronicles Lowndes’ real-life experiences with crippling fear, depression, PTSD, and loneliness. Through her struggles, Lowndes generated the inspiration to lift herself from life’s many challenges, making a remarkable recovery of mental health. Copies of Lowndes’ book will be available for purchase. The event will take place on Saturday, March 16 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Rainbow stew, 55509 Twentynine Palms Highway in Old Town Yucca Valley.
