Tomorrow the San Bernardino county supervisors will meet. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz to share what is on the agenda…
At tomorrow’s 10 a.m. meeting of county supervisors in San Bernardino, one item on the consent agenda is specific to our Morongo Basin. It is to declare a vacancy on the Morongo Basin Municipal Advisory Council (or MAC). The open seat is that of the Landers delegate, Richard Lutringer, who has relocated out of Landers. The MAC gives voice to the Basin’s unincorporated communities, and reports to the 3rd District County Supervisor James Ramos. MAC delegates volunteer their time and also serve to keep the communities they represent up-to-date with news from county government in San Bernardino. Tomorrow’s meeting, and every Board of Supervisor’s meeting, streams online and to the first floor teleconferencing room in the County Government Center on White Feather Road where public comment may be made via live video link. For Z107.7 News, this is assignment reporter Mike Lipsitz.
