The community blood supply has reached dangerously low levels that could potentially affect patient well-being. In particular, there is less than a one-day supply of blood. LifeStream will hold a community blood drive on Friday, May 31, at Walmart in Yucca Valley, 58501 29 Palms Highway, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. LifeStream now offers donors free cholesterol screening with every blood donation.
