To help support the victims of the mass shootings in Gilroy, El Paso, and Dayton, Ohio, LifeStream is holding two blood drives at the Yucca Valley Walmart this week. The blood drives will be held today, August 6, and Thursday, August 8, from 10 to 3 both days. For each blood donation received, LifeStream will make a monetary contribution to the Gilroy Foundation, the El Paso Community Foundation, and the Dayton Foundation, to help the shooting victims. Donors will also have a chance to win a $2500 cash prize. Donors must be at least 15 years old to donate blood and weigh at least 115 pounds, and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis.
