BLOOD DONATIONS AT CRITICALLY LOW LEVELS

0

Blood is desperately needed. LifeStream holds blood drives frequently in the Morongo Basin. Cassidy Taylor says your blood donation could make a difference in someone’s life…

Blood donations remain at critically low levels. As the only blood bank serving the Hi-Desert, along with the Coachella Valley and the Inland Empire, LifeStream provides blood services to 80 Southern California hospitals in six counties. LifeStream needs at least 500 units of blood each day to supply the hospitals in our area that depend on the life saving fluid. Blood is a perishable product that has limited shelf life, and needs to be replaced daily. Donating is a safe and simple procedure, and in 40 to 45 minutes, you can help save a life. To make an appointment to donate blood, call 800-TRY-GIVING.
