BLM MEETING TOMORROW ON RENEWABLE ENERGY PLAN

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is holding a day-long meeting of the California Desert District Advisory Council in Palm Springs on Saturday, March 15. The focus of the event is public participation in the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan (DRECP), which has been under development since 2009, and is nearing completion. The full meeting runs from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Within that period, there will be presentation and discussion from 10:45 to noon on the mechanics of the DRECP public process, and a demonstration at 1:30 p.m. of the DRECP Web tool.
