BIGHORN WATER PUBLIC HEARING ON DIRECTOR RAISES, CUSTOMER RATE INCREASES

Following a public hearing on a 5 percent increase to board compensation in the coming fiscal year, directors will consider a resolution fixing and adopting the agency budget for fiscal year 2019/2020, and confirm a 5 percent increase to the basic monthly service charge for residential and two-inch bulk meters and a 3 percent increase in consumption charges for residential and bulk meters. Tonight’s meeting begins promptly at 6 p.m. at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
