BIGHORN DESERT VIEW WATER SWEARS IN NEW DIRECTOR

The clock starts at noon today in Landers. That is the official start of a four-year term of office for the newest director at the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency. Reporter Mike Lipsitz has the details…

Landers resident Megan Close-Dees who ran for a seat on the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors in November was ultimately appointed to that seat because she was unopposed in the race. Close-Dees today steps into the seat left vacant when long-time Director Larry Coulombe moved out of the area. On Wednesday, Close-Dees was administered the oath of office alongside Director Michael McBride who also ran unopposed.
