In Landers last night, the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors approved a new Student Loan Assistance Benefit Program for agency employees enrolled in applicable degree programs or who are already degreed and have student loan debt. Under the program, a vested employee could receive as much as $10,000 toward an Associates’ degree and up to $30,000 for a Bachelors’ degree.
