The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency will hold the Board’s regular May meeting tonight with pay raises on the agenda. Reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us what to expect…
The public may participate in tonight’s 6 p.m. meeting via Zoom teleconference or webinar option. The water agency’s board will convene a public hearing on director’s compensation—whether or not to increase it and if so, by how much. Also, the board will consider cost-of-living increases for all other employees. Turning to maintenance and infrastructure tonight the board is expected to award contracts for recoating of two tanks a making safety upgrades to others. And among other business, the board will hold public budget workshop then fix and adopt the fiscal 2020-2021 agency budget.
