The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors meets in special session at 6 p.m. tonight. On the agenda is consideration of continuing associations with the agency’s legal counsel, auditors, and the Association of California Water Agencies. Also tonight, the board will consider moving forward with the purchase of two tax-defaulted five-acre properties on Highway 247, and provide staff with direction on a proposed employee funded post-retirement health insurance program. It all happens at the agency office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
