At tonight’s regular 6 p.m. meeting of the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency, the Board will consider an annexation, a bad debt write-off, and appropriation limits. Reporter Mike Lipsitz has the details…
In Landers tonight, directors of the water district there will consider a request by the Local Agency Formation Commission to annex a 640-acre parcel that lies outside the water district’s boundary but within its sphere of influence. Also tonight, the board will establish the fiscal 2018/19 appropriation limit at $164,543, and consider a write off of $1,200 in uncollectible debts owed. Those items and others will follow a closed session meeting with the district’s legal counsel. It all happens at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
