Directors at the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency meet tonight in special session and at a special time. At tonight’s special 5 p.m. meeting, the board is expected to receive and file the Agency’s Financial Audit for fiscal year 2018-2019 following a presentation by the independent firm that conducted the audit. The board is also expected to approve $17,850 for destruction of a Johnson Valley Monitoring Well that has failed to produce water, and authorize $51,600 for dynamic flow and water chemistry surveys at wells 3 and 4 in Flamingo Heights. Those actions will follow a closed session with legal counsel on existing litigation.
Tonight’s meeting happens at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
