Last night in Landers, the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency board of directors approved changes to the Employee Handbook, adopted a drug and alcohol testing program for safety sensitive workers, and authorized $60,000 for the purchase of 90 kw mobile generator for emergency power. And in a report out of the board’s closed session, directors named a law firm that will defend the agency in a wrongful termination/invasion of privacy lawsuit brought by a former customer service rep.
