The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors holds the regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. tonight. On the agenda is a public hearing on delinquent accounts, followed by board authorization to place property tax liens on those accounts. And in a related matter, the board is expected to reclassify $3,500 from 2009-2010 past due accounts to uncollectible write-offs. In other business, the board will receive and file a Local Agency Formation Commission countywide water service review. Those items and others are in addition to routine items on the consent agenda and reports from the staff and general manager. It all happens at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
