The Bighorn Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors meets in special session at 6 p.m. tonight. This is a make-up meeting called because the regular February meeting was cancelled. Among items on tonight’s agenda is a five-year budget review; the possible authorization of a vendor to assist the agency in evaluating wells and pumps as part of putting together a capital improvement plan; and directors will also consider selling an overstocked 375 acre feet of water to another local provider; and lastly, directors will review a draft of the agency’s new director’s handbook. It all happens at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
