The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency board of directors met last night in Landers. The agency serves the water needs for homes and businesses in Landers, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley. Reporter Mike Lipsitz attended remotely via the Zoom platform…
In Landers last night, the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency board assembled for a special makeup meeting. In separate resolutions, the board approved the write-off of $3,200 in bad debt from fiscal 2012/2013 and 2018/2019. And in other business, the board re-established the agency’s conflict of interest code without change. That action is done routinely every two years.
And finally, the board approved director attendance at an upcoming water conference.
Last night’s meeting was in place of the regular August 11 meeting which was canceled.
