BIGHORN DESERT VIEW WATER BOARD TO LOOK AT UNFUNDED PENSION LIABILITY

Later today in Landers, the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency board will meet for a special workshop at 5 p.m., then at 6 p.m. convene a special meeting. At the workshop, directors will focus on options for addressing the agency’s unfunded pension liability. The 6 p.m. public hearing and meeting will look at updating the rules and regulations for water service. Both the workshop and meeting take place at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
