At the regular monthly meeting of the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board tonight, directors will consider the 2019 Social Security cost-of-living adjustment and recommend pay increases for all regular employees and the general manager. Also tonight, the board is expected to approve the annual disclosure of the district’s reimbursement policy as is mandated by state law. Those items, a ratepayer’s request for a “leak relief” billing adjustment, and routine items on the consent agenda precede reports from the general manager and directors. It all happens at 6 p.m. at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
