The public is invited to attend tonight’s regular monthly meeting of the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors in Landers. Reporter Mike Lipsitz tells us what to expect…
On tonight’s agenda, the board will consider awarding a contract to the lowest bidder for a pump replacement project; authorize the necessary agreement so the district may accept a $50,000 grant from the Mojave Water Agency, hear an update from the committee that has been considering an agency “pool” vehicle, and discuss funding for board participation and attendance at upcoming educational and industry-related conferences and workshops. Tonight’s meeting begins promptly at 6 p.m. at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
