Board President Mike McBride will administer the oath of office to new directors John Burkhart and Jo Marie McKenzie, and re-elected Board Vice President Judy Corl-Lorono at 5 p.m. this evening. Then at 6 p.m. McBride will call the regular monthly meeting to order. Topping the agenda is the board’s likely approval of a new employee benefit—a proposed Student Loan Assistance Program for agency employees enrolled in applicable degree programs. It all happens at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
