The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors will hold the monthly board meeting at 6 p.m. tonight. At the top of the agenda, the board is expected to award a $34,000 contract for repaving portions of the administration building parking lot; next, the agency will convene a public hearing on a proposed increase to board compensation, followed by the last action item which is whether or not to authorize board attendance to an upcoming countywide water conference. It all happens at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
