The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors holds its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. tonight. Near the top of the agenda is a presentation of the agency’s financial audit. Next, directors will consider a resolution aimed at reducing charges from the Bureau of Land Management, since the federal agency began gouging the local water company with high charges where Bighorn’s water mains cross BLM land. After that, the board will convene a workshop on agency rules and regulations for water service. These items and others all under consideration under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
