Tonight’s 6 p.m. meeting looks to be routine. The board is expected to approve write-off of $1,300 of bad debt from uncollectable property tax liens from fiscal year 2012-13. Some $38,000 was collected through property tax liens during the most recent seven tax cycles. The board must approve an additional bad debt write-off of $1,900 for 2018/19 money owed that is ineligible for collection through property tax liens.
And also tonight, the board will be asked to re-establish the Agency’s conflict of interest code which is done every other year.
