Following a closed session with legal counsel on existing litigation, the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency’s board voted to initiate the process to raise their per diem payments from about $134 to about $141. Also last night, the board authorized purchase of a new pool vehicle for $37,000, approved attendance at two out-of-area, district-related events, and gave the go-ahead to finalize the planning phase for use of State Water Resources Control Board grant funds awarded to the agency.
