At tonight’s meeting the board will appoint a new president, vice president, and secretary as well as committee appointments. Long-time board president Mike McBride has indicated he is not looking to chair the board again this term. In other business, the board will consider a handful of resolutions in compliance with state government’s discontinuation of residential water service: urban and community water systems legislation. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. and takes place at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
