BIGHORN-DESERT VIEW WATER AGENCY LOOKS AT HOW TO GET THE COUNTY OUT THE WATER BUSINESS

The Bighorn Desert View Water Agency Board meets in a special session. Reporter Mike Lipsitz says the Board will discuss how to get the County out of the Landers water business……
The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors meets in Special Session at 6 p.m. tonight. The Board is expected to receive the 2012/2013 Financial Audit, and in response to a petition drive from Landers residents served by County water, the Board is expected to direct staff to investigate what it would take to relieve the County from having to provide water service in Landers. Also tonight, the Board will consider a minor contract, a change order, and adopt a Code of Conduct for themselves. It all takes place in Cherokee Trail under the old water tower in Landers.
