The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency Board of Directors meets in regular session at 6 p.m. tonight. Most residents of east Landers are hoping the board will vote to begin the process for the agency to take over their water service from the county. In November, Directors authorized General Manager Marina West to investigate such a takeover. Tonight, West presents the resulting study which points to a win win situation for the water agency and Landers residents. It all takes place on Cherokee Trail under the old water tower in Landers.
