In Landers tonight, directors of the Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency will look at giving themselves a raise. The board is expected to start the
process for instituting a five percent cost-of- living increase to their own per diems, and will likely authorize attendance at two upcoming water-related meetings. Those items follow a closed session meeting with the district’s legal counsel. It all happens at 6 p.m. at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
