The Twentynine Palms Varsity Golf Team returned to their winning ways by defeating Desert Hot Springs 222-281 in a home league match yesterday. Coach Grant Whipple said stand-outs for the Twentynine Palms High School team are Brandon Steffins, 40; Ty Lueken, 41; Tino Neder, 45; and Morgan Cole, 45. The ‘Cats are 7-2 in league and play Shadow Hills High School next Thursday in their final league match at Shadow Hills.
