Big Read Morongo Basin, continues its 2021 program with a drive-in film screening of the film “Warrior Women”. The event will be held at Copper Mountain College October 20 starting at 6:30 p.m. “Warrior Women” tells the true story of Madonna Thunder Hawk, a leader of the American Indian Movement. Through a circular Indigenous style of storytelling, this film explores what it means to navigate a movement and motherhood and how activist legacies are passed down and transformed from generation to generation.
