The Big Morongo Canyon Preserve is having its second program in its summer Family Fun Friday series. This Friday, on July 26, at 7 p.m., the topic will be “Leap’n Lizards and Slithering Snakes.” Rob Black has over 30 years of experience with reptiles and will be sharing his knowledge and extreme passion with you. Come out to the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve and learn what reptiles live among us! You will get to see a native desert iguana, western banded gecko, and a few of the Preserve’s beautiful native snake species. Everything is harmless and fun for the entire family. Lemonade and popcorn will be served. For more information call 760-363-7190.
