There will be lots going on at the Yucca Valley, Twentynine Palms, and Joshua Tree libraries Saturday, December 14. Managing editor Tami Roleff says to get out your library card…
The Twentynine Palms library will hold its grand re-opening Saturday, December 14, with a holiday-themed party from 10 to 1. Santa will make a visit, and there will be face painting, crafts, and give-aways. In addition, the re-opening will introduce visitors to the new Veterans Resource Center in the library.
Also on Saturday, the Yucca Valley library will have a paint party where visitors will be able to paint a portrait of Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The paint party is from 3 to 4:30 p.m. The paint party is perfect for those who have never painted before. Patrons will have the opportunity to win prizes when they check out 15 books.
Santa will be at the Joshua Tree Library Saturday, December 14, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be free pictures with Santa and free activities for the kids.
